Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort is located at the 300,000-acre Walt Disney World Resort, in Florida. It is one of the four "value" or "discount" resorts along with Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, and Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort.
This particular "discount" resort ranges from $82 to $141 per room per night (based on 2007 rates). Room sizes are decent at around 260 square feet and a maximum capacity of four persons per room (plus a child under three years old in a crib). All Disney World resorts are themed. All-Star Movies Resort has a total of five film-inspired themed areas: The Love Bug, The Fantasia, 101 Dalmatians, Toy Story, and Mighty Ducks.
Location
The All-Star Disney World resort is located at 1991 W. Buena Vista Drive, Lake Buena Vista, FL, in the southern part of the Walt Disney World property.

Décor and amenities
This discount resort has more to offer than low prices. As is with all Disney Value resorts, the All-Star Movies Resort is decorated with giant whimsical Disney characters and icons including the "Mighty Ducks" Duck Pond Pool; the Fantasia Pool; puppies from 101 Dalmatians; Herbie, the love bug; and Buzz Lightyear and the gang from the Toy Story. The All-Star Movies Resort also has a large food court with numerous food options.
The All-Star Movies Resort has a total of 1,920 guest rooms, divided into 384 rooms for each of the themed areas. All the rooms have a framed poster and border of the area’s movie theme. Each room also has a nightstand, an open closet with top shelves for storage, an armoire, a television, a small table with two chairs, a wall mirror, and a clock radio. Light fixtures in the room are star-shaped or shaped like popcorn boxes. The bathroom has a vanity area with a sink, a separate mirror, and a tub and commode. The tub is decorated with film reel tiles, while the shower is enclosed with shower curtains that are decorated with stars. The guest room can either have two double beds or one king size bed.
Rooms for the differently-abled
The rooms with king-size beds are also handicap accessible, and guests with special needs are given priority when requesting for this room. There are a total of 96 handicap rooms in the resort, each equipped with a larger bathroom that has a wheel-chair accessible bathroom instead of a tub.
Other amenities
There are also 1,344 non-smoking rooms and 960 connecting rooms that can be availed of upon request. Other amenities and services offered by the resort include central air conditioning, babysitting and childcare services, valet service cleaning, coin laundry facilities, express check-out, refillable mugs, High Speed Internet Access, luggage service, refrigerator rentals, Donald’s Double Feature gift shop, ATM machine, poolside bar, voice mail, and daily maid service.
Services and paraphernalia that can be requested through Housekeeping include bed boards, bed rails, cribs, iron and ironing boards, extra pillows, towels, blankets, and hair dryers.
If you and your family want to feel more special, you can avail of a room with a view of the pool or of themed courtyards. Be aware that "preferred" areas are in the Toy Story, 101 Dalmatians, and The Fantasia sections, and are therefore priced higher. The Love Bug section, however, has lower traffic and is a quieter area.
